CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University softball team will host its annual Strike Out Cancer Game on Tuesday, April 2 when the Pride hosts Eastern. First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
This year's Strike Out Cancer efforts will benefit Nicholas Esposito, a 2 1/2 year old who was diagnosed in October with neuroblastoma. Since October, Nicholas has battled with several rounds of chemo and radiation.
