Widener senior Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) added to her already impressive resume as she was named first team All-Middle Atlantic Conference for women's lacrosse.
Elliott set career highs and led the team with 76 goals, 95 points and 60 draw controls. She broke her own single-season school record in goals and is 17th in the country. Her point total puts her second in school history, surpassing her own mark of 85 in 2009, and she is 14th in the nation.
This is Elliott's first selection for the first team after being named second team each of the last two years. Also a four-year letterwinner in field hockey, she finished this spring second in school history with 201 goals and third with 252 points. She also holds the school record for goals in a game with 11 and is tied for the record for points in a game with 12.
Widener (11-7, 8-4 MAC) had a resurgent year, tying the school record in wins and making the conference tournament for the first time since 2005.
