Senior James Presto (Bethlehem, PA) carded 80 and is tied for 11th after the first round of the Commonwealth Conference Championship at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA.

Presto, who was second team all-conference last season, went out in 41 and came back in a four-over-par 39 to move into a five-way tie.  He is seven shots behind Steve Werst of Albright, who shot two-over-par on the par 71 course.

Junior Anthony Alvernes (Westfield, NJ) and senior Bill Vogt (Upper Darby, PA) are tied for 22nd with 85.  This has helped the Pride move into sixth place with 339.

The final round takes place Sunday, also at Hershey CC.
