Track & Field Continues Indoor Season at Haverford Quad-Meet

Widener continued its season at the Haverford Quad-Meet in Haverford, PA.

Freshman Nicholas Dolhancryk (East Lansdowne, PA) closed first among Division III athletes and sixth overall in the 200-meter dash, stopping the clock in 23.82 seconds.  Junior Mark Benedetto (Vineland, NJ) was second among D-III and sixth overall in the 400-meter dash in 53.56 seconds.

Freshman Darcella Llanos (Abington, PA) ended fourth among D-III and seventh overall in the 400-meter dash in 1:04.11.

Men's Lacrosse
Senior Cory Malampy ended with three goals, two assists and three ground balls in men's lacrosse's 12-6 victory Saturday over Swarthmore.
Abby Schaffer
Women's Indoor Track
Sophomore Abby Schaffer automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships, winning the pole vault at 3.85 meters at the ECAC Championships.  Her mark also broke the meet and facility record.
