Widener took part in its final meet before the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, competing at the Keogh Invitational in Haverford, PA.
Freshman Nicholas Dolhancryk (East Lansdowne, PA) closed second in the long jump at 22' 1" and fifth in the triple jump at 43' 3". Freshman Ryan Chance (Glassboro, NJ) ended third in the 55-meter hurdles at 8.28 seconds for the second-best time in the conference.
The men's 4x200-meter relay team ran a season-best 1:32.90 to end fourth and was comprised of junior Robert Innocent (Fairfax, VA), senior Bernard Innocent (Fairfax, VA), freshman Michael Koenig (Germansville, PA) and sophomore Sean McCarthy (Ellicott City, MD).
Robert Innocent ran 6.61 seconds in the 55-meter dash and 23.27 seconds in the 200-meter dash, ending fourth in both. Bernard Innocent ran a season-best 23.40 seconds in the 200-meter dash, closing fifth.
Sophomore Kevin Franklin (Baltimore, MD) had two season-best times, running the 55-meter dash in 6.81 seconds and 23.57 seconds in the 200-meter dash, finishing seventh in both. Freshman Ben Petrak (Chadds Ford, PA) notched season bests in the 55-meter dash at 6.93 seconds and in the 200-meter dash at 24.29 seconds.
Tevin Wood (Baltimore, MD) ran a season best of 53.26 in the 400-meter dash to end ninth and fellow freshman Ray Johnson (Mays Landing, PA) stopped the clock in 53.36. Sophomore Eric Albohn (Easton, PA) notched a season-best 54.37 seconds, as did freshman Dimming Jones (Philadelphia, PA) in 54.96 seconds.
Sophomore Cedrick Clayton (Cinnaminson, NJ) had a leap of 20' 2.5" in the long jump to end 10th. Freshman Austin Regalbuto (Clayton, NJ) covered 19' 1" in the long jump and 41' 9.25" in the triple jump.
Freshman Bilikisu Adeyemi (North Bethesda, MD) had personal bests in the 55-meter dash at 7.93 seconds and the 200-meter dash at 27.83 seconds. Both are among the top seven times in each event in the conference league.
Emily Conover (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ) ran a season-best 6:20 seconds in the mile, fellow freshman Ashley Callahan (Clementon, NJ) ran a season-best 2:35 in the 800-meter run and sophomore Emilie Keane (Haddonfield, NJ) ran 29.26 in the 200-meter dash.
Widener next Saturday takes part at the MAC Championships in Bethlehem, PA.
