Widener's Physical Therapy Department Plays Phillies Ball Girls for Charity

Members of Widener's Physical Therapy Department on September 9 squared off against the Philadelphia Phillies Ball Girls in a charity game to benefit the Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic.

All proceeds go to the clinic, a student run free clinic opening on Tuesday.

The contest also featured some Widener softball alums

Colleen Cormier

Field Hockey

Junior Colleen Cormier closed with a goal and an assist in Widener's 5-0 season-opening victory at Immaculata. She scored the only goal the Pride would need in the 21st minute and added an assist early in the second half.

Brad Ziegler

Men's Soccer

Junior Brad Ziegler ended with two goals and two assists over three victories last week for the men's soccer team. He had two goals and an assist at the Garnet Alumni Classic and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
