Jackie Elliott Named Second Team All-MAC For Women's Lacrosse a Second Straight Year
Email to a Friend | Print
Widener’s Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) was tabbed second team All-Middle Atlantic Conference for women’s lacrosse a second straight year.

Elliott this season took the conference by storm, ending second with 71 goals, tied for third with 85 points and tied for fifth with three game-winning goals. She is among the NCAA leaders in goals per game and points per game.

The 71 goals shattered the school record previously held by Courtney Patton, who netted 64 in 1991 and the 85 points in second in Widener annals. Elliott’s 125 career goals are sixth in school history and her 157 points are seventh.

Elliott had several big games, but none bigger than her 11-goal output April 8 against Alvernia that broke the school record. Her 12 points that day tied the Widener mark.

She scored at least seven goals on four occasions this season and closed with 12 hat tricks, including seven straight at the end of the year.

Her effort helped the Pride (8-9, 4-7 MAC) finish the season with victories in four of their last six contests.
