Widener ended its regular season with a 7-0 Commonwealth Conference loss at No. 7 Lebanon Valley in Annville, PA.

Playing without three starters due to illness, the Pride (11-5, 4-3 CC) had their backs to the wall against the perennial power.

Jocelyn Novak scored three goals for the Dutchmen (16-2, 6-1) with Shelly Lobach, Allison Bicher, Caitlin Vasey and Nikki Bomberger each netting one.  Vasey closed with four assists.

Junior Megan Purcell (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) made 23 saves for Widener, which had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Widener is the fourth seed for the conference tournament and will visit top-ranked Messiah on Wednesday in the semifinals.  The game time is to be announced.
