Widener University announced Monday that Isaac Collins, defensive coordinator for The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., has been named the university’s 22nd football coach.  Collins becomes the first African-American head football coach in Widener history, and only the fifth active minority head football coach in NCAA Division III. Women's Indoor Track
Sophomore Abby Schaffer had a leap of 3.65 meters at the Reno Pole Vault Summit last weekend.  She is ranked fourth in the country in Division III in this event.

Men's Indoor Track
Sophomore Dennis Conn won the 800-meter run in 1:57.08 at the McElligot Invitational in Haverford on Saturday.
