Widener University Athletics

Dan Jaycox is in his first season as Widener’s pitching coach.

Jaycox enjoyed a successful baseball career at George Mason University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English in 2008 and is a 2003 graduate of North Penn High School.

Jaycox was one of George Mason’s all-time leading pitchers from 2004-2008. He left third in school history with 186 strikeouts, fourth with 8.16 in strikeouts per nine innings and fifth with a 3.02 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Jaycox in 2008 received the Aimee Willard Commemorative Award, given to the student-athlete who best exemplifies the standards of quality set by the Brookhaven, PA native: intensity, consistency of purpose, achievement and teamwork.

Jaycox resides in Hatfield, PA.
